Beaverton Civic Plan Adopted!

The Beaverton City Council unanimously adopted the Beaverton Civic Plan on the evening of April 12, 2011. Thanks to thoughtful community input and the hard work of volunteers and team members, your ideas for Beaverton are now on their way to being implemented. This yearlong effort involving residents, business owners, property owners, and employers has resulted in a dynamic, coordinated set of strategies for the future of Beaverton. The Civic Plan serves as the City’s set of tools and partnerships for bringing many of the most critical and immediate elements of the Beaverton Community Vision to life over the 20-year planning horizon.

“We are ready to get going on this,” Mayor Denny Doyle said Tuesday. “I can’t tell you how exciting this is.”
